The main objective of this workpackage is the creation of a network of research activities in multimodal quantitative image analysis and signal processing around the imaging platforms of France Life Imaging.

The interest of this network is to facilitate existing, and stimulate future, research activities by combining the research forces in these fields existing throughout France with the equipement of excellence within the imaging platforms of FLI.

To reach these objectives the WP is organized in working groups: multi-dimensional image reconstruction, multimodal image analysis, population imaging, ultrasound imaging, numerical simulations for imaging applications, and signal processing in medical imaging.

The instruments for the realization of these activities include thematic seminars and small financing for the initiation of research projects around the areas of interest.

The WP coordination is assured by a multi-disciplinary group of experts coming from different laboratories of excellence at national and international level within the fields of interest.
