Training

The rapid and promising advances in biomedical imaging have highlighted the need to train a new generation of professionals, working in a multidisciplinary environment, thus requiring knowledge in biology, chemistry, fundamental physics, image analysis and clinical applications.

The training of the professionals in imaging has become a challenge with the recent arrival of multimodal imaging that significantly increases the potential for imaging. In addition, the cost of high-tech equipment often limits its acquisition by a single laboratory and laboratories thus rely on technology facilities, such as those proposed by FLI. In this context, the training of users and facility’s staff is essential.
